Solange (born Solange Piaget Knowles; June 24, 1986) is a Louisiana Creole American and African American singer-songwriter, dancer, model and actress. She is Tina and Mathew's youngest daughter and Beyoncé's little sister.
Relationship with Beyoncé[]
As sisters, Beyoncé and Solange have a mutual admiration for fashion and have been able to use this as a foundation for their professional relationship. The pair has expanded on their House of Deréon brand by developing a sub-brand, all-junior collection, Deréon. Also, they have worked together as spokeswomen for handbags by Japanese fashion company Samantha Thavasa.

Solange announced in August 2013 that she and her son were moving to New Orleans, Louisiana. On November 16, 2014, Solange married video director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans, Louisiana. The wedding was attended by her sister, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy Carter. In 2019, Ferguson and Knowles split up.

Although they have only one song together, Beyoncé and Solange have featured in each other's music and videos. Solange helped co-write "Why Don't You Love Me", and made an appearance in the music video for "Get Me Bodied".
